Exhibition 'RAW'

There is an juried call for entries for an exhibition titled 'RAW'.  Here is the information. This is a great opportunity to be in a museum show if your work is chosen. Its all about New Jersey. You are not limited to subject matter...and Wendel White is the Juror! The application and prospectus is on Sakai under the folder called 'RAW'.

The Noyes Museum of Art’s satellite gallery in Hammonton is looking for applicants for its newest juried competition, Raw.  The theme is focused on New Jersey and the surrounding lands; photographs that capture the beauty and diversity of New Jersey’s (regional) lands, people, animals, water and nature are acceptable.  There are $$$ prizes and a group show at the Noyes Museum of Art’s Hammonton Gallery for selected work.  Juror for this competition is Wendel A. White, Professor of Photography at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.  Deadline is February 22, 2012.

I am sending information about this competition in hopes to generate excitement amongst our regional photographers.  One of our missions at the Noyes Museum Gallery in Hammonton is to facilitate emerging artists, so this would be an excellent opportunity for your students.  It would be great if you could pass this along to anyone you feel would be interested.  I have attached the prospectus and application as well.

Thank you, I look forward to seeing some of your student’s photography or your own.
